Teaching the world to code, one kid at a time
At CodifyKids we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.

“At our most recent event, Fun With AI, Karina Rubio from WCIA 3 profiled us.”
While we were nearing the conclusion to our first camp, WCIA news reporters contacted us asking if they could interview us about our camp.
Key People
Shreya Sachdev
codify guru
She is a fifteen-year-old sophomore. She participated in the AI4ALL summer camp set up by Stanford at Arizona State University, where students learned Python and the basics of Artificial Intelligence. She is also an ambassador for AI4ALL. She participates each year in the First Tech Competition and her robotics team, CTRL-Y, got into the semi-finals in 2019 and to State in 2020. Shreya is one of the main coders in the team. Throughout the season CTRL-Y helped out the younger teams of the First Lego League competition in coding, with their robots, and running the event. She has used JavaScript, basic HTML and CSS, Scratch, and is learning Python. She is a budding poet and is also SafeSitter certified. She has experience working with kids at Camp Invention. She has helped organize fundraising earlier for the soup kitchen by collecting 100 lb of food and 12 backpacks and volunteers regularly.
Aryan Sachdev
codify guru
Aryan has just started high school and he loves playing Fortnite (Who doesn’t!!), basketball, and tennis. He has had a lot of experience in coding, including LEGO Robotics and many other coding activities using Scratch. In LEGO Robotics, his team got the Champions award at regionals, and then got the 3rd place Championship award at state, which got them to Nationals in LegoLand, Florida.
Our Plans
We plan to raise $2000 dollars this year. We have raised $600 so far since summer 2018.
We want to offer monthly weekend camps during Fall and Spring and create a regular club. Come summer, we plan to offer week-long camps again.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for every kid without asking for much. Every $100 we raise feeds another child for a year through Feeding Our Kids, our local charity — so kids can focus on their studies instead of looking for their next meal. Some of our camps are funded by grants.
